Fish Quay opens in Teignmouth

A £1.1 million Fish Quay has opened in Teignmouth, South Devon, that was built to help boost fishing, leisure and tourism industries in Teignmouth and surrounding areas. Close to our Devon holiday cottages, the quay will be the great place for recreational fishing.

The regeneration scheme aims to boost the livelihoods of the local South Devon fishermen, help retain the fishing heritage of the area and encourage visitors with new facilities and boats.

Shaldon Zoo has welcomed two new cute monkeys

Two new monkeys have arrived at Shaldon Zoo this month. The Douroucouli monkeys are called Dusk and Dawn, and have settled in well to their new home.
